Helicopter crash in Kazakhstan kills 1
Baku, January 17, AZERTAC
At least one person was killed in a helicopter crash in Kazakhstan's southeastern city of Almaty, the country's Interior Ministry said on Thursday, Anadolu Agency reported.
The Eurocopter 130 type helicopter -- belonging to Sky Service private company -- crashed at 4.05 p.m. local time (1105GMT), said Nursultan Nurahmetov, a ministry official.
He said the pilot succumbed to his wounds in the ambulance on way to the hospital.
No information was provided on the cause of the accident.
