AccessBank to sponsor 3rd Caspian Cup tournament
Baku, May 22 (AZERTAC). AccessBank will provide support to the Azerbaijan Federation of Football Associations (AFFA) for the organization of the third International Caspian Cup football tournament, to be held in Baku from May 29 till June 5, for boys under 17.
The national teams of twelve countries will participate in the competition, including Azerbaijan, USA and Kyrgyzstan in the "A" group, while Kazakhstan, Bulgaria and Georgia in the "B" group, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Jordan in the “C” group and Uruguay, Japan and Tajikistan in the “D” group respectively.
AccessBank will support the tournament as part of its joint work with AFFA for the development of football and sports participation in Azerbaijan. At the end of the tournament, AccessBank will present the awards for the best players of the tournament: Best Goalkeeper, Best Goal Scorer and the Best Player and the award for Fair Play.
Since April 2010 AccessBank has been a general sponsor of AFFA and Azerbaijan`s national men`s and women`s football teams including the national indoor, youth and beach football teams. The Bank supports the activity of AFFA directed to help in the development of Azerbaijani football and to make a general contribution to the development of sports participation.
