ASTRAKHAN TO HOST INTERGOVERNMENTAL ECONOMIC CONFERENCE OF CASPIAN STATES
The first intergovernmental economic conference of the Caspian states will be held October 3 in Astrakhan, Russia.
Along with officials, the event will also bring together representatives of major companies.
The conference will focus on economic cooperation, development of oil, gas, transport infrastructure, prospects for ecological security in the region and other issues.
The issue on establishing the Institute of Pre-Caspian Union is also expected to be discussed during the event.
