Azerbaijan and Argentina to cooperate in taxes sphere

Baku, May 18 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s minister of taxes Fazil Mammadov has met Argentinean ambassador Carlos Dante Riva. The discussions focused on prospects for cooperation between the two countries in taxes sphere.

Mammadov spoke about Azerbaijan`s economy, tax reforms conducted in the country, using information technologies in tax system, works done by the Taxes Ministry in direction of transition from e-government to mobile government.

The minister noted relations between taxes bodies of Azerbaijan and Argentina have developed. He recalled last year the two countries signed an agreement on exchange of information in tax sphere. Mammadov also stressed the importance of reciprocal visits in terms of exchange of experience.

Carlos Dante Riva, in turn, said Argentina attached great importance to relations with Azerbaijan. The diplomat added his country was ready to cooperate with Azerbaijan in a variety of spheres, including agricultural, ICT and oil industry ones.
