AZERBAIJAN AND USAID SIGN MOU
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and BankWorld Inc have started Financial Sector Stability Program (FSSP) and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ATRABank on September 17. The aim of this memorandum is to provide technical advisory and training services to local Azerbaijan commercial banks. The document was signed by Mr. Bharat Bhargava, Chairman and CEO of BankWorld Inc. and Mr. Pol Devis, Chief Economist of USAID.
These globally tested practices will address, strengthening of mall-to-medium enterprise (SME) sector, risk management practices, and operational opportunities and management Information Systems (MIS) utilization in constructing effective financial reporting. The project will continue a year.
