Azerbaijan, Brazil discuss cooperation in agrarian sphere
Baku, December 18 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan and Brazil have explored ways of developing cooperation as the country`s Minister of Agriculture Ismat Abasov on Monday met ambassador of Brazil Sergio De Souza Fontes.
Mr. Abasov briefed Sergio De Souza Fontes on Azerbaijan`s achievements in the agrarian sphere, founded by Azerbaijan`s national leader Heydar Aliyev and successfully continuing by President Ilham Aliyev.
He also said that friendship and cooperative relations had already created between the two countries, adding there was established condition for fruitful cooperation in several spheres.
The Minister also added that Azerbaijan attached great importance to the cooperation with Brazil in all spheres.
They discussed acceleration of signing of the memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the two countries` governments in agrarian sphere to establish legal base of cooperative relations in the relevant sphere.
Mr. Abasov suggested several proposals for developing of the cooperation in agrarian sphere.
Sergio De Souza Fontes, in turn, said he would try his best to contribute to developing the Azerbaijan-Brazil cooperation during his tenure.
