Azerbaijan, Germany expand cooperation in educational sphere
Baku, February 2 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan and Germany have explored ways of developing cooperation as the country`s Technical University has hosted a meeting of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Scholarship Society.
Head of the Society, Professor Ali Najafov touched upon the projects carried out by the DAAD in the country`s science and education sphere over the last years.
DAAD`s New Director in Azerbaijan Nicola Julia Ullisch, Consul General of the Embassy Wolfgang Mössinger praised the role of the German Organization for International Cooperation on strengthening of relations between two countries.
Nicola Julia Ullisch provided information about the DAAD`s scholarship program.
Managing Director of the German-Azerbaijan Business Association (DAWF) Florian Schröder briefed the participants on developing economical relations between Azerbaijan and Germany.
On importance of expanding both countries` cooperation Florian Schröder noted that Germany would be reliable partner for Azerbaijan on implementation of the state-of-the-art technologies in non-oil sphere.
Following the meeting, the discussed the suggestions in the direction of expansion of cooperation with DAAD.
