AZERBAIJAN PLAYS IMPORTANT ROLE IN EUROPE`S ENERGY SECURITY
Budapest, January 27 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan plays a key role in Europe`s energy security, transporting its natural resources from the Caspian basin to Europe, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said at the Nabucco summit.
The Head of State pointed out it is necessary to meet economic demands. Currently, Azerbaijan is exporting its gas and oil to a variety of countries. Azerbaijan is a reliable partner, attracting attention with its activity in the region.
President of Azerbaijan noted Azerbaijan holds rich gas deposits. Azerbaijan`s gas reserve comes to 2-3 trillion cubic meters. It is enough to meet domestic need in the decades ahead, President added.
