AZERBAIJAN PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES ROMANIAN MINISTER OF ECONOMY ADRIEAN VIDEANU
Baku, July 2 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev today has received Romanian Minister of Economy, co-chair of the Azerbaijan-Romania intergovernmental commission Adriean Videanu.
The Azerbaijani leader praised the development of relations between the two countries, stressing the importance of high-level reciprocal visits in this regard.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed assurance the Romanian minister`s visit would serve to expand economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Romania.
Adriean Videanu conveyed Romanian President Traian Basescu`s greetings to President Ilham Aliyev. He said the Romanian President is awaiting the Azerbaijani leader`s visit to Bucharest, adding “the trip will be important for Romania, which is looking to expand its relations with Azerbaijan”.
President Ilham Aliyev asked the Romanian minister to deliver his greetings to Traian Basescu.
