AZERBAIJAN PRESIDENT RECEIVES PORTUGUESE FM
Baku, July 15 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received a Portuguese delegation led by Foreign Minister Luis Amado.
The President expressed confidence the Portuguese minister`s visit would mark fruitful discussions on the bilateral relations. The Azerbaijani leader added the visit was important in terms of developing the Azerbaijan-Portugal ties.
President Ilham Aliyev said the Portuguese FM`s visit would also contribute to expanding the Azerbaijan-European Union cooperation.
Luis Amado conveyed the Portuguese Premier`s and President`s greetings to the Azerbaijani leader.
The Foreign Minister said Azerbaijan could be a good partner for Azerbaijan both in the context of the bilateral relations and cooperation with the European Union.
President Ilham Aliyev asked Luis Amado to extend his greetings to Portugal`s Prime Minister and President.
