Azerbaijan, Serbia: trade turnover rose by 15 times in Jan-Sept

Baku, November 26 (AZERTAC). “Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Serbia has increased by 15 times in the first nine months of this year, compared with the same period of last year”, Azerbaijani Minister for Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev said during Azerbaijan-Serbia business forum held in Baku.

The Minister noted that trade relations are the main directions in Azerbaijan-Serbia mutual cooperation. Over 20 agreements have been signed between the two countries. 2 Serbian companies were registered in Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan granted credit for Serbian road construction. The contractor of this project is Azerbaijan’s “AzVirt” Company.

According to the State Customs Committee, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Serbia amounted to $21.24 million in January-September, with the share of imports at $21.22 million.
