Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Türkiye’s Ardahan University sign memorandum on cooperation

The Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (ASPU) hosted a meeting with a delegation from the Ardahan University of Türkiye.
The meeting was attended by ASPU Rector Professor Jafar Jafarov; Director of the Education Department Sanan Aliyev and head of the Department of international relations Gunay Maharramova, as well as Rector of the Turkish Ardahan University Öztürk Emiroğlu; Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator Doğan Saltaş; Director of the Rectorate’s Special Secretariat Ferhat Uzunkaya; International Students Coordinator Nurgül Moldaliyeva and Faculty Members Mirza Polat and Volkan Özkan.
The meeting, which aimed to implement joint projects in education and science, expand student exchange programs, and adapt teaching methodologies to modern requirements, the parties discussed cooperation prospects between the two universities.
The sides also touched upon the implementation of the Orhun Exchange Program.
The program envisions intercultural cooperation and mutual exchange of experience between universities and academic staff, mutual meetings, as well as scientific research and cultural activities.
The meeting also featured extensive discussions on the prospects of cooperation between the Turkology Center of the Azerbaijan State University of Political Science and Technology and Ardahan University.
The sides agreed to deepen mutual exchange of experience in this field.
The meeting concluded with the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the two universities.
Ardahan University comprises 7 faculties, 2 institutes, and 4 vocational schools.
