AZERBAIJAN-UZBEKISTAN INTER-GOVERNMENT COMMISSION``S MEETING HELD IN BAKU
The 8th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan inter-government commission took place in Baku.
Representing Azerbaijan in the commission, Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov briefed the participants on dynamic economic development in his country. According to him, the country`s non-oil sector is rapidly developing, too.
He also stressed there were great potential for expanding Azeri-Uzbek cooperation ties.
Uzbekistan`s Deputy Premier Nodirkhon Khanov said Azerbaijan was a very important partner for his country. He stressed there was great prospects to deepen trade relations between the countries.
The meeting also discussed establishing joint enterprises to enhance bilateral cooperation, organizing reciprocal visits by the two countries` businessmen and other issues.
As stated, the Commission`s next meeting is said to be held in Tashkent.
