AZERBAIJANI FEATURE FILM SCREENS AT HOUSTON FILM FESTIVAL
Baku, 21 April (AZERTAC). A movie “40th door” made by the Azerbaijani film director Elchin Musaoglu was screened at the 42nd WorldFest-Houston Independent International Film Festival in Houston, Texas, press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism reported.
Major parts were played by Hasan Safarov, Guler Nabiyeva, Rovshan Agayev and others. The film was shot by the “Rhythm production” film studio. Khagani Savalan is a producer.
WorldFest Houston International Film Festival is an annual film festival, dedicated to the independent feature and short films. WorldFest-Houston is one of the three original International film festivals in North America, after San Francisco and New York. It was founded in 1961 as an international Film Society. It is the only totally dedicated Independent International Film Festival in North America, as it does not accept films from the major studios. The festival was founded by producer/director Hunter Todd to present a film festival for the independent filmmakers.
