AZERBAIJANI HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSIONER HOLDS MEETING WITH AMBASSADOR OF NORWAY
Baku, 14 February (AZERTAC). Elmira Suleymanova, the Azerbaijani Ombudsperson, has met Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Azerbaijan Jon Ramberg.
Mrs. Suleymanova outlined the importance of recently adopted National Plan of Actions, aimed at protecting human rights in Azerbaijan. She invited Norwegian Ambassador to attend the Conference on National Plan of Actions, which is to take place in Baku on February 18. The Conference will bring together employees of the state institutions, representatives of the non-governmental, civil and foreign organizations. Mr. Ramberg highly appreciated Ombudsperson`s efforts in protection of human rights and expressed his hope for future cooperation.
