Azerbaijani officials hold meetings in Oklahoma
Baku, August 1 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani Ambassador to US Elin Suleymanov and Deputy Military attaché Shafi Sultanov joined the National Guard conference in Oklahoma, US.
The servicemen of this state are the partners of Azerbaijani armed forces.
Azerbaijani Ambassador Elin Suleymanov addressed the conference and expressed gratitude to the National Guard for efficient cooperation with Azerbaijan and giving impetus to bilateral relations between the states.
Touching upon the current achievements of the country, Azerbaijani ambassador also told about the role of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the formation of Azerbaijani statehood.
Commander of the National Guard Myles Lynn Deering highly estimated the leading role of Azerbaijan in the region and decorated the diplomat with medal of “Thunderbird” at the solemn banquet ceremony.
The members of the Embassy also met with the representatives of local authorities, businesses world and general public, including the Indian tribes of the State and discussed the bilateral ties between the two countries.
Azeri Ambassador also attended the seminar organized by the “Turkuaz” on the development of the Caspian region. The public figures of the state who had visited Azerbaijan during the “Eurovision-2012” song contest attended the event.
