Azerbaijani President receives credentials of incoming Ecuadorian ambassador
Baku, November 9 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received the credentials of incoming ambassador of Ecuador to the country Patricio Alberto Chavez Zavala.
During the meeting, the ambassador conveyed Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa`s greetings to the Azerbaijani leader. He said Ecuador was interested in developing the bilateral relations and expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan within international organizations.
The ambassador expressed confidence the two countries` relations would further develop.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence Mr. Chavez Zavala`s tenure would see the relations between Azerbaijan and Ecuador deepen.
The Head of State said there were good opportunities for expanding the existing active cooperation between the two countries within international organizations.
The President noted the importance of developing the economic relations.
President Ilham Aliyev asked the ambassador to pass on his greetings to Ecuadorian leader Rafael Correa.
