Baku, April 9 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received today French ambassador Gabriel Keller on completion of his diplomatic mission.

The Head of State said bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and France cover a wide range of areas. He described high-level reciprocal visits as a good sign of relationship between the two countries.

President Aliyev noted the Azerbaijan-France relations had developed successfully during Keller`s tenure. The Azerbaijani leader highly appreciated the ambassador`s contributions to expansion of bilateral ties and wished him successes in his future activity.

For his part, ambassador Keller expressed satisfaction with his involvement in expansion of Azerbaijan-France bilateral ties. The diplomat also underlined the importance of President Ilham Aliyev`s contribution to strengthening relations between the two countries.
