Azerbaijani President receives Russian Defense Minister
Baku, July 25 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Defense Minister of Russia Anatoliy Serdyukov.
President Ilham Aliyev underlined bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia were developing successfully in a variety of fields, in particular military one.
The Head of State praised military-technical cooperation between the two countries as part of multifaceted relations.
The President said the Russian defense minister`s visit to Azerbaijan was important in terms of discussing military cooperation and defining directions of further relationship.
Mr. Serdyukov said all the tasks concerning the Azerbaijan-Russia military and military-technical cooperation were timely fulfilled, adding the two countries` defense ministries were successfully working together to solve the relevant issues.
