Azerbaijan’s Garabagh University, Türkiye’s Istanbul Technical University ink MoU

On January 21, Azerbaijan’s Garabagh University and Türkiye’s Istanbul Technical University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation.
The MoU was signed by Shahin Bayramov, Rector of Garabagh University, and Hasan Mandal, Rector of Istanbul Technical University, in the presence of Emin Amrullayev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Science and Education, and Erol Özvar, President of Türkiye’s Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
YÖK President Erol Özvar noted that bilateral cooperation in science and education is expected to further expand in the future. He stated that the document provides for the implementation of joint projects, joint research, as well as student exchange and dual degree programs.
Minister Emin Amrullayev described the agreement as an important cooperation platform between the two countries in the fields of science and education, adding that Azerbaijan will continue to enhance collaboration with the brotherly country in this area.
