Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense Industry, BSU ink product development agreement

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense Industry Madat Guliyev and rector of the Baku State University (BSU) Elchin Babayev have signed an agreement on the development and application of scientific and technology products.
Under the contract, BSU will provide services for the Ministry for technology product development and application for manufacturing.
Addressing the event, Minister Madat Guliyev hailed the rapid development of the defense industry and manufacturing of local products in the country under the leadership of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. He also emphasized that cooperation with the country's scientific institutions is of particular importance for the expansion of the domestic defense industry.
In turn, Elchin Babayev stressed the importance of the contract for the development of the defense industry of Azerbaijan. The Rector also hailed that the product quality will contribute to the further strengthening of the defense capability of Azerbaijan.
The two also agreed to establish a joint working group.
