AZERI CULTURE MINISTER MEETS CHAIRMAN OF STYRIA`S PARLIAMENT

Baku, April 24 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Culture Minister Abulfas Garayev met Friday with chairman of the parliament of Austrian federal state of Styria Siegfried Schrittwieser and his accompanying delegation.

Garayev said reciprocal visits contribute to boosting “friendly” relations between Azerbaijan and Austria.

The Minister noted Azerbaijan hosted several international events in 2009.

According to him, tourism industry in Azerbaijan developed even more.

Siegfried Schrittwieser said “I am proud to be in Baku- Capital of Islamic Culture.”

He expressed confidence that relationship between Azerbaijan and Austria would continue to develop.

Azerbaijani ambassador to Austria Fuad Ismayilov was present in the meeting.
