AZERI INDUSTRY AND ENERGY MINISTER MEETS ROMANIAN MINISTER OF ECONOMY
Baku, 4 July (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Minister of Industry and Energy Natiq Aliyev met Friday with Romanian Minister of Economy Adrian Videanu.
Natig Aliyev said Romanian Minister`s current visit would contribute to boosting cooperation between the two countries.
According to him, friendly relations between the Azerbaijani and Romanian presidents provided a solid basis for development of the bilateral relationship.
Azerbaijan is interested in establishing intensive cooperation with Romania in all areas including energy security, Natig Aliyev said. He added his country was ready to cooeprate with the European Union on energy security.
For his part, Adrian Videanu praised the level of political and economic relations between Azerbaijan and Romania. The Minister said his country was keen on strengthening cooperation with Azerbaijan even more.
Videanu called Azerbaijan “a friend and reliable partner of Romania in the Caspian region”.
He also underlined his country intends to buy a large volume of crude oil and petroleum products from Azerbaijan.
President of Azerbaijan State Oil Company Rovnag Abdullayev and Deputy Minister of Industry and Energy Gulmammad Javadov were present in the meeting.
