AZERI MP ATTENDING INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN BERLIN
Berlin, January 27 (AZERTAC). Member of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijan Parliament), Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization of Black Sea Economic Co-operation (PA BSEC), Asaf Hajiyev is in Berlin for an international conference on stabilization process in the South Caucasus.
The conference brings together representatives of Azerbaijan, Germany, Turkey, Georgia and Armenia to discuss socio-political situation in the region and protection of security in the region.
Addressing the event, Asef Hajiyev drew the audience`s attention to the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.
He said Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity is the main principle in the settlement of the conflict. Hajiyev stressed Azerbaijan will never put up with the fact that Azerbaijan lands are still under occupation.
The Azeri MP had also met with his German counterparts to exchange views on expansion of interparliamentary relations between the two states.
