AZERI MPs VISIT GEORGIA
Baku, January 6 (AZERTAC) Members of the Azerbaijan Milli Majlis (Parliament) including Gultakin Hajibayli, Lala Abbasova, Nasib Nasibli and Musa Guliyev visited Monday Georgia.
As part of the visit, the MPs attended, in the country`s Marneuli city, the presentation ceremony of the book “Rights of national minorities: international acts and Georgian legislation.”
Author of the book, MP Gultakin Hajibayli spoke of historical relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia.
The book includes several laws of Georgia and international documents on national minorities.
Georgian President`s adviser on national issues Tamar Kintsurashvili praised Azerbaijan`s contribution to her country during the August developments.
During the visit, the MPs also met with Azerbaijanis living in Georgia.
