In his remarks, UAEU Vice Chancellor Ahmed Ali Alraeesi recalled their visit to BEU a year ago. Emphasizing the strategic importance of cooperation with BEU for UAEU, he noted that joint research would contribute to developing scientific approaches to global challenges, particularly in climate change, water security, and environmental protection.
BEU Vice-Rector Atraba Gul highlighted that the partnership with UAEU is crucial for expanding the university’s international scientific relations. She added that joint research aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) would not only strengthen relations between the universities but also advance energy efficiency, environmental safety, and sustainable economic development.

Special emphasis was placed on conducting collaborative research in four priority areas within three main SDG directions: Clean Water and Sanitation, Affordable and Clean Energy, and Climate Action.
The meeting concluded with agreements on the next stages of collaboration, including joint projects, academic exchange programs, and scientific publications.
