BAKU HOSTS 60TH MEETING OF COUNCIL OF CIS FRONTIER TROOPS` COMMANDERS
The 60th meeting of the Council of CIS Frontier Troops` Commanders was held Friday in Baku.
The event focused on the current situation on CIS countries` borders, combating terrorism, extremism, illegal turnover of drugs, and other issues.
On the sidelines of the meeting, representatives from frontier services of the Commonwealth countries held discussions on bilateral and multilateral cooperation. Azerbaijan joins the meeting with observer status.
Chief of the State Frontier Service of Azerbaijan Elchin Guliyev told of the importance of the event.
The meeting adopted 31 decisions on CIS frontier cervices` further activities.
