Baku hosts international construction exhibition
Baku, October 20 (AZERTAC). The 18th Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition titled Baku Build-2012 has today ended here.
The exhibition was supported by the Ministry of Economic Development, the State Committee for Construction and Architecture, the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs Foundation and Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion (Azpromo).
The event brought together 455 construction companies from 31 countries.
The BakuBuild has been approved by UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry for the past six years.
The area of the Caspian construction week extended 20% compared to last year. 7 collective expositions attended the exhibition. The companies from Finland, Germany, Spain, Italy, Iran, Portugal and others attended the exhibition as well. Local participants made 35% of total participants. This year, 30% of the participating countries are newcomers.
The participation of world brands as “AzTexnika”, Intertechnics, “LTS MMC”, “Manitou”, “Prolink Caspian” (Azerbaijan), “HIDROKON” (Turkey), “Hyundai” (Korea), “MANN”, “Wirtgen” (Germany), “VOLVO” (Sweden), “Faymonville” (Belgium) and “JCB” (Great Britain) must be noted.
In parallel with BakuBuild, the 4th International Exhibition “Heating, ventilation, air conditioning, water supply, sanitation, technology, environmental protection, swimming pools and renewable energy” (Aqua-Therm Baku-2011), the 5th Caspian International Exhibition “Protection, Security and Rescue” (CIPS-2011) took place too.
Aqua-Therm Baku 2012 brings together 78 exhibiting companies from Azerbaijan, Italy, Russia and Turkey alongside domestic representations of companies from Belgium, China, Finland, Sweden, Japan and others. The area of this exhibition increased 20% in comparison with last year.
CIPS 2012 bring together companies form Azerbaijan, Italy, Russia, Ukraine and Turkey. CIPS 2012 will be a place to demonstrate achievements in the development of rescue equipment, fire safety, and ICT.
BakuBuild maintained its universal appeal, with every visitor being able to find what they need - everything for building, renovation and interiors is on offer for end consumers, and for future business partners the exhibition is the largest construction business forum in the region and an event which helps companies looking for partnerships in adjacent areas to work together more effectively.
