Baku to host IGF 2012
Baku, October 31 (AZERTAC). The Seventh Annual Internet Governance Forum Meeting will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan from 6-9 November 2012. Baku has the privilege for being the next in line of prestigious venues for IGF, such as the cities the conference took place within last years. The proposed main theme of the 2012 IGF annual meeting is “Internet Governance for Sustainable Human, Economic and Social Development”.
Every day Internet is penetrating our life, bringing some more new ideas and making our lives easier and more comfortable. There are a lot of topics and ideas that the Internet brings to the agenda globally and all those new trends should be duly discussed and agreed before widely stepping in and impacting the future. In this regard, we cordially invite all the participants to discuss with us the global implications of the ICT in the world and the trends of its future development.
Within the framework of the conference it is also planned to have the proper social programme, presenting the country at its best, making sure the participants will have enough possibilities to enjoy the beautiful scene of history and modern world, arts, culture and masterpieces national architecture.
