Baku to host session of Azerbaijani-Serbian intergovernmental commission
Baku, November 23 (AZERTAC). The second session of the Azerbaijani-Serbian intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation is due in Baku on November 27.
According to Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Economic Development, the session participants will discuss the existing state of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Serbia, and review what had been done since the first session, as well as explore prospects for expanding the bilateral economic ties.
The co-chair of the commission from the Azerbaijani side is Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev, while Vice Premier, Minister of Internal and External Trade and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic heads the commission on behalf of Serbia.
As part of the commission`s meeting, Baku will also host an Azerbaijani-Serbian business forum at the Baku Business Center on November 26. The co-organizers of the forum are the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development and AZPROMO.
The forum will bring together Azerbaijani and Serbian businessmen from a variety of fields, including construction, food processing, agriculture, engineering, transport, trade, tourism, energy, medical and gas equipment, packaging and container production, aluminium composite panels, manufacture and repair of cars.
