Baku, January 8, AZERTAC
The CLIMASEL project of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR has become one of the top 30 projects presented within the Dutch acceleration program Startupbootcamp. It was selected from 2,000 projects in the Energy and Environment category.
The CarbonX team received an investment of €25,000 and the right to participate in the 3-month acceleration program.
The presentation of the project was conducted by third-year students of the Chemical Engineering Department of BHOS, Khayala Miriyeva and Fatima Nasirova.
Elmar Asgarzade, a senior engineer at the Innovation and Research Center of BHOS, Aysel Mamedova, a lecturer at the Chemistry Department of BHOS, and Gullu Huseynli, a strategic planning and corporate performance specialist at SOCAR Türkiyə, also participated in the project.
The CLIMASEL project produces Climasel panels, made from phase change biomaterials, which reduce energy consumption and maintain a constant temperature in buildings.
The program will be held in a hybrid format in Amsterdam and online.
