Date and venue of Anand vs Carlsen match defined in Baku
Baku, May 6 (AZERTAC). Chess grandmasters Vishy Anand and Magnus Carlsen will lock horns in a world championship match in Chennai, India, in November as the International Chess Federation and All India Chess Federation agreed in Baku.
The agreement was inked by FIDE president Kirsan Ilyumzhinov and head of the All India Chess Federation Barat Singh on the sidelines of a gathering of the FIDE Presidential Council in Azerbaijan`s capital.
The game will take place from November 6-26.
