Dushanbe to host 38th Annual Meeting of IDB Group
Baku, May 5 (AZERTAC). The 38th Annual Meeting of the Islamic Development Bank Group will take place in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, May 18-22.
The event will feature “Dushanbe Business Forum 2013”, to be organized by the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD) under the patronage of the President of Tajikistan.
The Forum will showcase Tajikistan as a promising investment destination and will also focus on the best practices of Islamic Banking and Leasing.
This Forum is aims to strengthen the economic ties between the Tajikistan and OIC countries by attracting investment into Tajikistan. The forum will also highlight the economy and business environment in Tajikistan and showcase available investment opportunities and prospective business partnerships. The forum will represent a unique opportunity to investors, business people and policymakers to network and establish business relations with their counterparts and other leading representatives from the local business community in order to explore together the many investment and trade possibilities that the country offers. It will focus on the new investment opportunities in Tajikistan, which will bring in foreign investors to invest in various projects and link them for further networking and to highlight Tajikistan`s unique investment location attributes and allow participants to physically appreciate its natural endowment and to give an opportunity for local investors to discuss business collaboration with potential investors. It will connect foreign investors with companies and individual entrepreneurs from Tajikistan who have viable business projects which require foreign partners. In addition, the forum aims at reinforcing the position of Tajikistan on the world investment map by highlighting profitable business opportunities readily available in the country.
