Baku. February 19 (AZERTAC). GUAM - Japan meeting on the level of National Coordinators is underway in Tokyo.

Azerbaijan`s deputy foreign minister Araz Azimov is attending the 2-day event, according to the foreign ministry.

The meeting`s agenda was discussed by Secretary General of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM Valery Chechelashvili and Ukraine`s foreign minister, GUAM national coordinator Alexander Gorin on February 9.

On February 1-9, Tokyo hosted GUAM-Japan Investment and Trade promotion workshop which focused on prospects of boosting economic cooperation between GUAM member states and Japan. The workshop participants visited several organizations, including Japan External Trade Organization, Japan Foreign Trade Council and Manufactures Imports and Investment Promotion Organization.
