IMF delegation visits Azerbaijan`s State Social Protection Fund
Baku, November 15 (AZERTAC). Chairman of Azerbaijan`s State Social Protection Fund Salim Muslumov has met with a visiting delegation of The International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Salim Muslumov updated the delegation on progress achieved in insurance-pension system of Azerbaijan in the recent years.
Mr. Muslumov highlighted works done on the fees for compulsory social insurance and joint cooperation with relevant state bodies.
Touching upon pension reforms, Salim Muslumov noted the preparation of drafts on changes and amendments in the laws on labor pensions and social insurance.
Head of the IMF delegation Raja Al Marzugi said that the International Monetary Fund was always ready to provide technical assistance to reforms on the creation of insurance pension system in Azerbaijan that totally meets international standards.
The sides also exchanged views on IMF technical assistance and other issues of mutual interest.
