INDIAN PRESIDENT ARRIVES IN MOSCOW ON STATE VISIT
Baku, September 3 (AZERTAC). President of India Pratibha Patil has arrived Wednesday in Moscow on a state visit, ITAR-TASS reports.
The official part of the visit will begin today with a meeting with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. On Friday, Pratibha Patil will meet with Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.
The heads of the two states will attend a gala concert on the new stage of the Bolshoi Theatre which is expected to become one of the most vivid events of the on-going Year of India cultural festival in Russia.
The program of the visit also includes a trip to St.Petersburg. The Indian president will go on a sightseeing tour of Russia`s second largest city and see a school where Hindu is taught.
