ISRAELI PRESIDENT VISITS HEYDAR ALIYEV FOUNDATION
Baku, June 28 (AZERTAC). Israeli President Shimon Peres has today visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
Israeli President was welcomed here by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO goodwill ambassador, Milli Majlis deputy Mehriban Aliyeva.
President Ilham Aliyev briefed his Israeli counterpart on the aims of the Foundation, and items from national leader`s personal archive.
Israeli President Peres familiarized himself with the documents concerning national leader Heydar Aliyev`s activity, keepsakes presented by famous politicians, books dedicated to the national leader, and opinions of scientists and people of art about founder of Azerbaijani state. He also saw photographs depicting Heydar Aliyev`s meeting with world`s leaders.
President Shimon Peres signed a guest book. Israeli President was given a keepsake.
The Heads of States and Mehriban Aliyeva watched a film about the Foundation`s activity.
