MILLI MAJLIS DEPUTY SPEAKER MEETS POLISH DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER IN BAKU
Baku, 4 February (AZERTAC). Deputy Speaker of Azerbaijan`s Parlaiment (Milli Majlis) Valeh Alasgarov met Wednesday with visiting Polish deputy foreign minister Andrzej Kremer.
Alasgarov said reciprocal visits by the two countries` top officials play a significant role in expansion of bilateral relationship. He stressed the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation even more, adding the two countries enjoy great potential in order to achieve this.
Alasgarov also brifed Kremer on Azerbaijan`s international relations, economic reforms being carried out in the country, successful oil strategy, as well as Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.
Andrzej Kremer, in turn, praised the accomplishments that Azerbaijan has achieved. On the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, he said Poland supports Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity.
The talks also revolved around the role of Azerbaijan in Europe`s energy security, major oil and gas projects, prospects for developing bilateral cooperation and other issues of mutual interest.
