Morocco`s national holiday marked in Azerbaijan
Baku, July 31 (AZERTAC). The embassy of Morocco to Azerbaijan arranged an official reception to mark the country`s national holiday - Throne Day here.
Moroccan ambassador Hasan Hami told of history of development of the country and achievements gained in the political and economic fields. He hailed friendly relations established between Azerbaijan and Morocco. The diplomat said both countries develop relations in political, economic and cultural fields. On rapid development of Azerbaijan, Hami praised election of the country as non-permanent member of the UN Security Council as great success.
He underlined that the 20th anniversary of establishment of the diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Morocco will be marked this year.
On behalf of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijani Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev conveyed greetings and warm wishes of the Head of State and congratulated people of Morocco on this momentous event.
The Minister noted relations of friendship between Azerbaijan and Morocco would further serve for developing and strengthening of bilateral relations, interests of both nations and their prosperity.
The event brought together officials of the state and government, MPs, ambassadors of foreign countries.
