Odlar Yurdu University hosts “Azerbaijan – 2020: vision for future” international conference

Baku, May 2 (AZERTAC). “Azerbaijan - 2020: vision for future” international conference marking the 90th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev has kicked off at Odlar Yurdu University.

Addressing the event, the university`s rector Ahmed Veliyev said the heritage of the national leader became a subject of international scientific researches.

The conference, that brings together representatives from Spain, Great Britain, Russia, Turkey and Georgia, will hear 300 scientific articles.

The best articles will be published in the university`s scientific and pedagogical journal.

Pro-rector of the University Samir Veliyev called the national leader an architect and founder of the modern independent Azerbaijan and one of the political leaders of former Soviet Union.
