OSCE MINSK GROUP CO-CHAIRS LEAVE BAKU FOR YEREVAN
Baku, January 20 (AZERTAC). OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs completed their regular visit to Baku on Monday and headed to Yerevan.
Shortly before leaving Azerbaijan, the Co-Chairs spoke to journalists at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
Yuri Merzlakov, the Russian Co-Chair, expressed satisfaction with outcomes of Baku talks. He in particular pointed out a meeting with President Ilham Aliyev, saying it was very fruitful.
Ambassadors Matthew Bryza of the United States and Bernard Fassier of France echoed Mr. Merzlyakov`s comments, expressing confidence in peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
They said the Azerbaijani President demonstrated will and readiness to take the issue forward, and that they hope to see the same from the Armenian leader.
