PRESIDENT ALIYEV ATTENDS UNVEILING CEREMONY OF MONUMENT TO HEYDAR ALIYEV IN GAKH
President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended Friday the unveiling ceremony of the 
monument to nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev in a park in Gakh district.
The Head of State and his spouse laid flowers at the monument.
Favorable conditions have been created for residents` having a rest in the park.
The 1-hectare park got modern lighting system, new benches, more than a thousand ornamental shrubs, flowers and trees.
Here, the President also chatted with local residents.

The same day, President Ilham Aliyev participated in a ceremony of laying a foundation stone of a sports complex in Gakh district.
The Head of State was told that the Complex`s project was drawn up by the “Azkommunallayihe” Institute.
The President gave certain instructions and assignments.
