“President Cup” water polo tournament starts in Mingachevir

Baku, May 7 (AZERTAC). The “President Cup” international water polo tournament marking the 90th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev is today kicking off in the city of Mingachevir, Azerbaijan.

Co-organized by the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the tournament brings together teams of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia and Belarus.

Azerbaijan will face Belarus on the first day of the competition.

The winners will be awarded with medals and honorary diplomas by the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
