PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV INSPECTS CONSTRUCTION OF BAKU RING ROAD
Baku, July 23 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev has today inspected construction of the Baku ring road.
The construction work started here in 2006. The ring road will have six 3.8m-wide lanes.
The President viewed the road`s section which will link to the Baku-Iran border highway.
The Head of State was informed that construction work here includes building six bridges, 4 bus stations, an underpass and a tunnel. The construction work employs 400 people.
The construction of the Baku ring road is planned to end in August 2010.
President Ilham Aliyev chatted with constructors to give them recommendations on their further activities.
