PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV PRESENTS CONDOLENCE TO HIS IRANIAN COUNTERPART OVER PLANE CRASH

President Ilham Aliyev has today sent a letter of condolence to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran. The letter says:

“I was deeply grieved upon hearing the news about the crash of Caspian Airline`s Tu-154 plane, which claimed many lives of your compatriots.

I share your sorrow over the tragedy occurred. On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I offer my profound condolence to You, families and friends of the dead and all people of Iran.

May Allah rest their souls in peace!”
