PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES GEORGIAN PREMIER NIKA GILAURI
Baku, June 1 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri and his accompanying delegation.
Georgian Premier conveyed President Mikheil Saakashvili`s greetings to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. He stressed he frequently visited Azerbaijan as the Minister of Energy, saying the 16th International Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference Incorporating Refining and Petrochemicals is important for strengthening energy cooperation between the two nations.
The Head of State noted Azerbaijan-Georgia bilateral relations in a variety fields including economic and energy ones are successfully developing. He stressed Georgian Premier`s present visit would help develop bilateral ties even more. Azerbaijani leader noted the 16th International Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference is important for expanding international cooperation in the energy field.
The Head of State asked Georgian Premier to pass on his greetings to President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili.
