PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES IRANIAN DEPUTY FM
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Thursday Iran`s Deputy Foreign Minister Mehdi Safari and his accompanying delegation.
Safari conveyed Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad`s greetings to Azerbaijani Leader.
Successful development of Iran-Azerbaijan relations was stressed at the meeting. They expressed confidence that bilateral relations will continue to expand. There was an exchange of views on regional issues.
President Ilham Aliyev asked Safari to pass on his greetings to Iranian counterpart.
