President Ilham Aliyev receives Tatar Prime Minister
Baku, March 5 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Russian Federation Ildar Khalikov.
The Head of State congratulated the Tatar Prime Minister and the people of Russia on successful completion of the presidential elections.
President Ilham Aliyev said the cooperation between Azerbaijan and subjects of Russia, including the Republic of Tatarstan is rapidly developing. The Head of State underlined there were good opportunities to expand these relations even more. On importance of reciprocal visits in strengthening of the relations, the Head of State expressed his hope that the visit of the Tatar Prime Minister would help widen these ties.
The Prime Minister of Tatarsan said he has arrived in Azerbaijan with a large delegation comprising the representatives of government structures, business, finance and banking sectors. Mr. Khalikov stressed the importance of boosting cooperation.
