PRESIDENT INAUGURATES ZARIFA ALIYEVA PARK IN ZAGATALA
President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended Friday, in Zagatala district, the opening ceremony of the park named after prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
The 2-hectare park got two fountains, modern lighting system, benches, ornamental shrubs, flowers and trees.
The President and his spouse laid flowers at the monument of Zarifa Aliyeva.

The same day, President Aliyev participated in ceremony on the inauguration of “The Caucasus” hotel in Zagatala.
After ribbon-cutting ceremony the Head of State got closely acquainted with the Hotel.
The five-storeyed, 80-room Hotel meets modern standards.
President Aliyev viewed the rooms. He praised the favorable conditions created in the Hotel.

President Ilham Aliyev familiarized himself with the tobacco production and processing enterprise in Zagatala district.
The President toured enterprise and viewed its facilities.
The Head of State stressed the importance of constructing such enterprises.
He added state care will further continue for development of non-oil sector to export the country`s products to foreign markets.
