Baku, February 21 (AZERTAC). On February 21, President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev telephoned to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
The two leaders expressed satisfaction with successful development of bilateral relations in various fields.
The Russian President informed his Azerbaijani counterpart on the outcomes of the Moscow meetings of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC).
The Presidents exchanged views on the issues related to settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
They also discussed the situation caused by the global economic crisis.
The heads of Azerbaijan and Russia expressed confidence in further development of relations between the two countries.
During the conversation, they also touched upon a number of other issues of mutual interest.
